MIOPLOSUS.

In Southwest Wyoming, Colorado and Utah is the Green River Formation,
where some of the world's best specimens of fossil fish are found.
The Green River Formation was composed of three lakes, Lake Uinta, Lake Gossiute and Fossil Lake.
The fossils found are between 40 and 60 million years old and are in excellent preservation.
